The International Holiday Centre of Le Rocheton offers you language holidays to have fun while learning French, as well as a programme of activities to discover Paris and its region.
Accommodation and catering
Guests are accommodated in rooms with private showers and toilets. The meals can be taken in our dining-room or outside on the terrace, and are served on a self-service basis with a wide selection of starters, main dishes and desserts. On excursion days, our kitchen team provide a picnic. Barbecues can also be arranged on request, wherever you want on the site (terrace, park...).
During your stay, your group has free and secured access to all the facilities of the centre : the enclosed 25 acre park, table-football, billiards, shuffleboard table, table-tennis, library, sports areas, launderette, bar, free private car park (un guarded).
The International Holiday Centre of Le Rocheton takes charge of the organization of each stay with the help of qualified activity teams, many of whom work in the centre the whole year through. All of them have recognised qualifications, and all the staff have been carefully recruited and trained to high standards.
During these holidays, a medical assistant is on hand for any issues concerning the health of guests. At the slightest emergency a doctor nearby can be called in.
The courses generally consist of three-hour lessons every morning, with the objectives of teaching the basic French structures or more in-depth-study, depending on the level.
The teaching method favours oral expression and fun learning with songs and videos.
The students are generally encouraged to keep a log-book during their stay.
At the end of the stay, all participants will receive a certificate indicating the number of days spent in France and the number of hours of classes taken.
Visits to the Château of Fontainebleau, the Louvre Museum or the medieval town of Provins ; taking a cruise in a tour boat ; walking in the forest ; going up the Eiffel Tower ; rambling along the banks of the Seine ; spending a day in an amusement park... These activity programmes are rich, varied and are a great way to calmly discover the French culture.
In the evenings our teams propose different workshops such as graffiti, dance, comic-drawing, circus and even cooking. Each subgroup takes it in turn to do one of the activities proposed. Other events such as campfire, cinema and festive nights take place after dinner.
Our team will design a tailor-made programme to fit your educational project, adapted to the age of the participants and taking into account your budget and preferences.
